Can your young adult explain the accommodations that they need be successful at college? Do you understand why your son or daughter may not be given the same accommodations that they had in high school? All of these questions and more are explained within the pages of this website. Additionally, many topics are covered in the blog articles, and others are included in the podcast episodes.

From Wrightslaw.com as read to “Empowering Homeschool Conversations” with Mickie Hayes:
Self Advocacy is learning how to speak up for yourself. Making your own decisions about your own life. Learning how to get information so that you can understand things that are of interest to you. Finding out who will support you in your journey, knowing your rights and responsibilities, problem solving, listening and learning, reaching out to others when you need help and friendship and learning about self determination.
